Sylvester! with Hot Chocolate & Naomi Sims

I asked Larry Edwards (Hot Chocolate) on 5/10/22, if Gene Howle had any sort of 'arrangement' with
the Fab Four that pretty much got them exclusively (in Houston ) at the Copa, and they did not
appear anywhere else, at least from 1982-1986.

We were very loyal to Gene Howle. It was understood we only performed at the Copa on Sundays...
Naomi & I did a quick guest spot with Sylvester at Numbers after our Copa show..all of our guests
followed us over there. Gene Howle wasn't amused. Every since that special performance with
Sylvester we made an agreement to only perform at the Copa

and it was indeed given as "Copa II" in the TWT Guide for a while, but obviously not in their ads

Hot Chocolate moved to Las Vegas in 1986,
and made only a few reunion shows before the club closed

the last show

and, who is Maruska Mayo, and when did ownership change?
well, I found her obituray, a straight woman who died in 2014 at age 79,
so she would have been 51 in 1986

and, as the clipping indicated, by the end of October the performers had moved to Numbers

And yes, the Copa featured a LOT of the Fab Four or Five --
Tiffany, Naomi, Donna, Hot Chocolate and Tasha
