above, first listing in TWT Guide. 11/2/84

1985

looks like the club may have started out as a cabaret,
and after its remodeling it became a Black bar
with Cookie LaCook, an icon of the Black community as regular emcee,
and Tommie Ross was a frequent performer

1986

the club's Parade entry won an award

1987

1988

1990

1991

above, last listing in the TWT Guide, which was odd....
they usually kept good track of when bars opened and
closed, but Studio 13 continued to run ads (just a few)
and was mentioned (in Hot Tea) at late as 7/23/93

1992

1993

when did it close?

Usually I can tell when a bar closes by when
TWT stops listing them in the Guide section,
but not this time....
not sure if the space was empty, if a straight
club was there, or what...

1996

Rascals opened September 1996,

and, Aaron who? See this page

Afterwards...
