The Lone Star Women's Music Festival (LSWMF ) was started in 1990 and held through 1995.
I do not know if there were prior or subsequent events held, and would welcome that info.

Google tells me that after LSWMF stopped the mantle was taken up for a number of years
by Friendsfest, in Dripping Springs, west of Austin.
