Some surprise coverage from my friend Ryan...at the Paris Opera House, March 2024, in only five days the post got over 300 "likes," and maybe some sales, who knows? Hope so....he's got 35K followers

A great visit to my old stomping grounds in Norfolk, where I came out in 1978. Professor Cathleen Rhodes of Old Dominion University invited me to give a book talk and it went very well. Held on Feb 27 we packed the room and I was very pleased. This is the first time I added a slideshow element to my presentation, went well. See This Page for More photos.

And, on March 10th I was a guest at Dr Ford's book club...via zoom...15+ participants in a more free-styled Q&A. They had all read the book, very cool! I got so caught up in it when we ran out of time I realized, damn, I didn't do a screen grab.

At the Queer History South conference, Feb 22-25, Charlotte, NC. In addition to enjoying the confence Barb Kucharczyk and I staffed a vendor table with her offering books and DVDs from the Old Lesbians Oral Herstory Project, and of course I was hawking my book, 1981 My Gay American Road Trip

Outlife757 is the LGBTQ magazine of Hampton Roads, VA, published by Eric Hause. I was pleased to interview with him a while back, and now it's out in print (and online).

It's great timing for me, as I'll be visiting Norfolk in late Feb and giving a book talk at Old Dominion University, on Feb 27th.

The Diana's invited me to do a book reading and Q&A at their Nov 15 meeting, and it went Very well. I think they enjoyed it & I sold a few books.

11/16/23. A big thanks to long-time music and book columnist Gregg Shapiro for including a really good quickie review of my book in the latest OutSFL Magazine. Wilton Manors, FL  [ to save space, I only displayed mine :]

On 11/5 Book Club Houston invited me to for a reading and Q&A, and I was very impressed. I had a great time and the 25+ members seemed to as well...hey, it lasted five hours! Of course I read the first Houston chapter, but added (hopefully humorous) side comments not in the book.

Well, on September 24th I was interviewed on the radio by the trio at Lambda Weekly Radio (KNON, Dallas) David Taffet, Lerone Landis & Patti Fink) Scroll down for that.
