I find that last sentence absurd, and believe a statement closer to the truth
would be that the Ert-Molina marriage had no effect at all on this issue.
While it may have prompted a Texas Code change, that change was not a
factor in this course of history.

When the article hit the internet it got some interesting comments

Until/unless I hear more about "a sex change that her
lover Bob Strange paid for," I will give that no creedence.
I have not found yet in what years the Mark Twain was
open in Dallas, but it was owned by Frank Caven, and
later, Bill Simonson. Could there have been more than
one female impersonator using the Vicki Carr name?
